What most people LOVE about a room is the feeling they get when they enter. It’s not just about a custom sofa or a vintage rug. Those could be great don’t get me wrong! But it’s making ALL of the elements – meaningful furnishings, color, lighting, textures & accessories – work together that really make a home inviting. I truly enjoy making a house feel like a home!
Originally from Ohio, I moved to Atlanta after graduating from Miami University. I worked as a CPA for a large accounting firm and then in various corporate accounting and finance roles. But I always yearned for a path that would utilize my professional experience AND creative talents.
When my husband and I decided it was time to move from our first home, we purchased a “fixer” in the Atlanta suburbs. It was in rough shape but I could see the potential. With the help of our contractor, we “gutted” the house down to the studs. I redesigned the layout and updated every surface of the home’s interior while staying true to our original budget. It was during the renovation that I totally fell in love with the design and remodeling process and realized that I wanted to turn my passion into my profession. I love helping others see the potential in their own homes and helping them create functional, inviting spaces that reflect their own personal tastes.
While my creative ideas and passion for design bring a fresh perspective to each project I take on, my professional background and results-driven approach ensure that we stay on schedule, on budget and the design process is an enjoyable one!
